Stump Grinding
Stump grinding is often the final step after tree removal. Leftover stumps can create trip hazards, get in the way of mowing, send up new growth, attract pests, or prevent replanting and lawn restoration.
Allscape Tree & Turf Services grinds stumps below ground level so the area can be cleaned up, restored, or prepared for future use. For many properties, grinding is also less disruptive than pulling the stump out by machine, especially near driveways, septic systems, landscaping, and other areas where root removal could cause damage.

A Practical Approach to Stump Removal
Allscape grinds stumps well below ground level to reduce regrowth and make the area easier to restore. Our self-propelled equipment can reach many backyard or side-yard locations without needing to maneuver a truck and trailer directly to the stump.
After grinding, the hole can be back-filled with grinding chips or loam, depending on how you plan to use the area. Excess chips can be hauled away or disposed of on property.
Why Grind a Stump?
Stumps are not just an appearance issue. Depending on the location and condition of the tree, a leftover stump can create problems for the surrounding yard.
